We have positions available for Master thesis in
molecular aging research.
The work will be done in the nematode Caenorhabditis
elegans, focusing on changes in gene regulation and metabolism during
aging.
Techniques that will be used are:
– gene manipulation by RNAi
– transcript analysis by RT-qPCR
– (fluorescent) microscopy
– lifespan analysis
The work will be done in the CMB and in
the Fritz Lipmann Institute (FLI)
